The Five *Best* Jeans In My Wardrobe
(and why I think they're the only pairs you need if you're a denim lover)

For as long as I can remember one of my absolute style pillars has been a good pair of jeans. I know, I know. It’s about as obvious and predictable as saying a black blazer should be in your wardrobe essentials (which, actually- saying that, wouldn’t be in mine) BUT from Topshop’s Joni back in the day (the more sprayed on the better), Levi’s Ribcage (for failsafe every-day cool) and Rolla’s Sailor Jeans (which I’m yet to invest in but ugh, MELT every time I see them)- I’ve realised recently that I feel most like myself when I’m wearing a great high waisted, slightly cropped mid-wash jean and when you find the goods, getting dressed truly becomes a whole lot easier.
But also, okay- hear me OUT.
I know five different pairs is a lot for one wardrobe, and I am truly not suggesting you need as many different pairs (think of it as me doing some of the research so you don’t have to) but I am a jeans girlie through and through.
I relax in jeans.
I'm the mad woman who sits in jeans on the sofa when she gets in rather than change into leggings because I believe well fitting, comfortable jeans are made for doing everything in (I still wear pyjamas, but take note Levi's- IM READY AND WILLING). I put on jeans for a day at home, a day running errands and an evening dinner with friends. I know I’m talking about them as if I’m the first woman to discover them, but sometimes- when you find a pair that just fit so well it really does feel a little bit like that. Anyway- I thought I’d share the five pairs that I feel truly make up my wardrobe. The ones that I feel lost without when they’re in the washing basket after a solid The-View-esque-same-jeans-situation and the pairs so good that they make me feel pretty special even if they’re paired with a simple white t-shirt- *chefs kiss*!
